This little dog was born on Christmas Eve 2002. She only had 2 legs and even her mother rejected her!! Her owner didn’t think she would survive and considered having her euthanized.

A beautiful soul named Jude Stringfellow met the little pup and decided to take care of her. She set out to teach her to walk on 2 legs….she called her Faith.

How did she do it? At first, she set her on a surfboard so that she would get used to feeling movement. She came up with a way to have her stand and jump, by offering her a spoonful of peanut butter. This was both an enticement and a reward.

Believe it or not, it took only 6 months for Faith to balance on her hind legs and take small jumps. Jude trained her to walk in the snow, so she wouldn’t get hurt when she fell. Soon she learned to walk….and the rest as they say is history.

Faith’s owner Jude, gave up her teaching position and intends to travel all over the world spreading her message. Her plan? To teach people that you don’t need a perfect body….to have a PERFECT SOUL.

How many lives will Faith touch in her travels? How many hearts will she heal? What if Jude hadn’t seen something in her?

This dog’s story and simple courage will change lives. If she hadn’t lived….the world would be all that much poorer for it.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. There are people and animals put on this earth to remind us all….of just how precious life is.
